I was so excited to shoot the JDRF walk to cure diabetes for the second time! Last year was so much fun and I’m so grateful I got asked again! This is a huge event to raise money for juvenile diabetes. Although I’m not sure about the numbers for this year, I know it is well over 1 million dollars!

The best part of being a photographer, besides being able to make your own schedule, is meeting such great people! Yes, they are my clients, but when the jobs done I consider them friends. I loved meeting and working with Lauren & Shawn. Their laid-back wedding was fun, filled with emotion and overall just a sweet and simple occasion. I loved being a part of it. Congrats to Lauren & Shawn and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

I wouldn’t be lying if I said that Jackie has the most infectious smile I have EVER seen! I’ve never seen someone light up a room as she did on her wedding day! Kenyon is a lucky man! 🙂 Congrats to Jackie and Kenyon and wishing you both health and happiness! More pics to come!!

I am so happy for my friends Angela and Tony! Baby boy Bennett will be here soon and I know Angela is ready….more ready for the pregnancy to be over, really! Good luck to them as they face the challenges and joys of parenthood… and they will wonder, “why didn’t I do this sooner?”
